1) Please tell something about your organization, key achievements and benefits you provide to global hoteliers?

Comm-Trans originated the upscale hotel shuttle concept in 1974 to provide the industry with transportation meeting the image and needs of the individual properties themselves. Since then, Comm-Trans has been the leader in innovative commercial transportation products, having acquired industry-specific experience and knowledge essential to properly constructing conversion vehicles that withstand the rigorous use to which a hotel guest shuttle van is subjected daily .

2) How has the economy downturn affected your business? What steps have your taken to help hoteliers in this economy? Any special deal, discount, or offer?
Our business usually reflects the economic trends in the hotel industry. Today’s economy an operating environment challenges everyone in the hospitality industry to operate with maximum efficiency while maintaining a quality-focus. After 35 years, Comm-Trans is no exception and has risen to the challenge by streamlining the entire transportation purchasing process to save hotels money, effort, and time.

In July, we announced two new funding options designed with the unique needs of today’s hotels in mind - eliminating red tape and doing away with personal or partnership guarantees in most cases. Comm-Trans’ EasiLease and CTCapital programs make the funding process quick, simple and easy. Properties franchised under one of the major hotel flags… are automatically pre-approved, saving even more time and hassles.

2010 will bring the launch of several new equipment and warranty packages, giving hotels even more value in their purchases.

3) What do you see as the future of Hotel industry? What major trends will impact hotel business in coming 20 years?

The future for hotel industry is good. It's business will come back as the economy recovers. Hotel energy management will likely have the largest impact on hotels in the coming years.

4) What benefits and key advantages you offer over competition? Why should over readers consider doing business with you?

Comm-Trans” approaches the construction methodology entirely from a commercial use prospective. Our competition approachs the construction process from a consumer use prospective. Vehicles that are built to consumer standards include those built for family style passenger vans, recreational vans and handicap type vans. These are intended for personal use vehicles, not commercial use. These competitors add hotel shuttle vehicle amenities to a van designed for family or personal use, but this does not mean that it is now a van built to commercial use standards.

Let's for a moment compare a guest shuttle van to your hotels’ laundry and kitchen equipment. Where did you purchase them? From a home appliance store? Of course not. You were looking for a equipment constructed to a commercial use standard that will provide many years of dependable service in a very high volume capacity. The level of service would be compromised greatly if that equipment is built only to consumer use standards. These consumer standards are designed for personal use requirements, not commercial. So, you likely made your equipment purchases from a company specializing in commercial laundry and kitchen appliances, right? Well, guest transportation vehicles are no different. A van built to consumer standard cannot deliver service, dependability and durability in a commercial environment. 5) Do you provide E-commerce or online payment facility? Can our readers book your products or services online?

In December 2009, we will launch our new website which will feature a fully interactive vehicle showroom, allowing visitors to virtually test-drive our vans and buses. The site will even enable visitors to "try on" their brand's logo and graphics packages so they may see "the CommTrans Difference" inside and out. Guests to our site will be able to select the floorplan, options and graphics for their new hotel shuttle and print, save, or email their colleague a one-page PDF with their specifics and a color rendering of their CommTrans vehicle.
